yup - that is the batphone console. It was a $3k+ option on the sticker - integrated cell phone (analog) with voice dialing. Some people like the console as a place to put gauges, nav units etc. It does interfere a bit with the driver's right leg but you get used to it. I did

no offense taken, especially since I wasn't the one that checked the $3k option box when ordering. It was a very nice system for its time but that time has long passed. In the pic in the ad, the phone itself had been removed.
