Default WTB Engine Tray

Okay, I know this is a sensitive subject but I'd like one to use while driving around in the winter to avoid salt, etc. Does anyone have one sitting in the garage they want to ditch? Is it different than the N/A cover? Preferably, I'd like to find one local-ish as I'm sure shipping is awkward. Does anyone have a part # as I can't find it in the PET (cover, for underbody), which ends with the transmission cover.

Thanks in advance,

Ya know Don, I was thinking about you when I posted that. I had a gut feeling that you were gonna offer yours, and I was gonna think it would be a PITA w/ regards to shipping. I'm down if you're willing to box it up and take it to FedEx. Maybe wait a day to see if I find someone closer.

Let me know, I've got a big box and UPS is 3 miles away. N/A cars have a different part #.

OK, I have a silly new guy question. Why is the engine tray a sensitive subject? I'm assuming some guys are of the opinion it runs cooler without it and some say it's there for protection and should be left on? Am I close???
Thanks.

That's about the size of it, also some discussion of it reducing aero lift in the rear at terminal velocity.

Thanks 911/Q45. Since you are sending yours to WHB Porsche I assume you run without it. Have you noticed and difference? Run cooler? Car gets loose at high speed?
Thanks Again.

That's about a day too late, Geoff, but thanks anyways. I actually sent him an email a few days ago about having some work done on the car by his shop.

I haven't noticed any difference since I removed it. I never go over 150 anymore, guess I finally grew up after 50.
