Default TT Wheel Well Color?

Can anybody tell me if the color in the Wheel Wells on a 97 TT should be Black or Body Color? The ones on my C2S are body color. The ones on the Turbo I am buying are Black.
Is this maybe the difference between 97 and 98 or difference between Turbos and C2s?Any help Appreciated.

Well the plastic liners are black, but the metalwork should be body coloured. At least they are on my 96 and 97

The only wheel wells that are painted black on any 993tt is a black 993tt.

Scott,

I have had a few brake issues and after much deliberation - I went ALL the way.

Brembo GT3 Cup Car Calipers F+R
Brembo "RACE" 360mm Rotors F+R

The braking ability is now SIMPLY AMAZING. No other word for it.

They "JUST" fit under my 996 Hollow spokes - with some creative spacers.

I will ost some more pics,

Simon.

FYI my UK Polar Silver 96MY TT has a thin coat of black underseal in those painted areas as above. At first I thought it was just caked on dirt but as I began to scrape some off it was clear that it was underseal, its soft (like a bitumin) and it definately looks factory applied.
