Default TURBO emblem question

hello everyone
quick question my tt was just in the body shop for some paint work on the rear end. i just noticed the emblem is chrome now. to the best of my knowledge the original one was silver i call the shop any the owner says that the dealer only list the chrome one and that that was the original equipment. They are having the same problem with a 993 TTS they have there they cant get the turbo andd the S the same color aperently not offered by porsche anymore. Any info on the would be great Part numbers even better. thanks in advance for the help

I found the same thing. There is a guy on ebay that is selling the satin emblems. I got one from him (from Germany), no problems.

The original 993tt emblem was silver or chrome!
But the partnumber isn´t longer listed and was change to the 996 number and so now you get the 996 turbo emblem when you order the 993!

And the 996 emblem is a little bit too big and the "t" is not correct!

But if you order the 965 turbo 3.6 emblem, you get the perfect emblem for the 993tt because it looks 100% the same!

Greetings Christian

Detail Dynamics in LI had a few 993TT emblems in their showroom gathering dust, last time I was there this past Fall.

thanks again guys. Funny how Porsch discontinues a 20 dollar emblem for one of the best cars they ever produced. Back to the question about the S will a boxter S emblem be the same?
