Default Atspeed Motorsports

My suspension issues are solved thanks to the good folks from Atspeed Motorsports. They are located in Hanover, MD and are definitely first rate. A great bunch of guys that are passionate about their racing. We also got a full tour of the facilities including a glimpse of the car they will be running in the 2008 Speed Gt series, http://atspeedmotorsports.com/2008_Season. Also, that beautiful 993tt in the background is mine!!

What was the root cause?

They were able to raise the rear a little bit more and they adjusted the toe and camber. Plus, rolling both rear fenders helped.

It honestly doesnt sound as though they fixed or at least identified the problem. It appears the wrong springs are installed as typically perch heights are much lower, much much lower than how they are set on your car. You may wish to revisit them to discuss.

These cars are sensitive to suspension set-up and I would hate to see you drive your car with such a configuration.

No mention has been made to me by Protosport who did the PPI nor Atspeed which obviously just did the work about incorrect springs, yet I also feel that something cannot be right. I honestly just don't know enough about it, but I can not understand how the car is this low in the back and the collar is at the top of the adjustment range. I need to call Atspeed again and talk with them further regarding the suspension. Thanks for the input.

Hopefully Atspeed didn't just work on the car to make the wheels fit and "forgot" to fix any real issues with the suspension.
