I like the 993TT for its uniqueness vet the 996TT is more reliable and has more "creature comforts" So heck, I guess it depends on what I find and what deal comes along.

Despite the many issues you had with your particular 993TT, I think the basic reliability of the two cars (993TT and 996TT) is pretty much the same... once you factor in the age and mileage. Now, when you talk about 600HP+, the 996TT will have the reliability edge.
