Default fuel consumption

What seems to be the average fuel consumption of a std TT mine is showing an av of 13mpg am getting 180-190 ish miles to a full tank, savage when my n/a 993s used to get to 300 miles on a tank ,still a small price to pay for the extra performance!!
nb. what sort of mpg would you get from a modded one I wonder

Probably about 3.8 mpg if you're driving it like Jimmy, as you should.

Gary,

The turbos are very fuel inefficient with their low compression ratios... they are inefficient when not on the boost, and real gas hogs when you get on the boost. Try to stop checking your mileage. It will always suck on these cars.

I just started playing with the computer on mine yesterday. I saw the mpg and decided not to look at that page ever again.

If you want to get there fast, don't take a sailboat. If you want to get there cheap....

I get almost 20 mpg on long highway drives and between 13 and 15 mpg in mixed driving. TT is stock.

Well then, you never want to check it during/after a track event. That number (single digit) will really give you pause for thought.

Check your 3.8, you'll be pleasantly surprised. My mpg was 2 better than stock, twin plugs maybe?
