I know what you mean. Frank is Polar and Andi is Arctic. I actually prefer the Polar too. (Just don't tell Andi!)

Both silver's are gorgeous, but I prefer the one without any blue in it. I think that's arctic silver. That is a sho nuf true silver to me.

Either is pretty though.

My color decision basically came down to midnight blue, guards red or arctic silver. GR won as I seem to be stuck on it, having owned 3. :-)

I have been following your thread as well and extensive searching on this board for others' opinions on:

maintenance
suspension
interior
mods

in that order. I don't want to jinx myself thinking too much about mods, just want to make sure everything is in good shape to start. Once that is done, I plan to

75k maintenance - I'll tackle this and it will be a good "learning the car" exercise
lower to ROW height and get a good alignment
tighten up the shifter/RS short shifter
explore a thicker steering wheel and freshen the shifter and ebrake handles
lastly look at some modest power gains with aim at improving low and midrange power and driveability.

I have to say the amount of knowledge on this board is very impressive!!

congrats.... wow, now u have best of both worlds.. .. a 997tt and a 993tt, let us know how it stacks up against the newer brethren...
