Default Does anybody know this car?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1997-...QQcmdZViewItem

Also, any recommendations for a PPI in Marietta, GA would be appreciated. Right now Marietta Automax has the car for sale.

Any suggestions on what else to ask the dealer about the car?

Is it me or does the car look like its riding higher than normal?

Thanks in advance.

The height looks stock to me, mine sat 1" lower with H&R springs by comparison it seems stock. As far as price he's high with that milage, even with the wheels. If the car has clean car fax, org paint and a A+ pdi probably 58K would be the # I would hit him with. JMHO...Good luck, beautiful car!

Take a peek at Scott Mellor's 993TT before you do anything silly. He's local!

Default this car...

... appears to be enthusiast owned and well cared-for. I don't agree that it's overpriced for the miles, given that it's got documented maintainence and passes a PPI. Necessary suspension upgrades will cost $3k, power mods, if desired, will cost more but are not, I believe, immediately necessary on these cars. You could, theoretically, pay for the suspension by selling the Speedlines or at least defray the cost by selling off the stock wheels.
I think it looks like a great starting point if it is as nice as it looks and sounds in the ad!

I agree that the car sounds ok - but whay would anyone pass up Scotts car for the same $$$$?

Got me beat ?????????????

BTW - is it just me or do the rear wheels look like they are the wrong offset?

Simon.

Its stock and original suspension, I emailed the guy for my own interests. I personally think it will take 3-5 to make it right. MO30 complete with sways, droplinks bushing, not to mention plug wires, cap, MAF. If the big 60k has not been addressed its near time.

I wondered the same with the rear offsets as well. I think they must by 305's perhaps, the sidewalls do look a bit tall. Car does look clean however and it shows very well.

Thanks for your response. I spoke to the owner yesterday, and he is open to a PPI. He did not know what PPI meant, so I might be in for a little problem. We will see. I will be calling Reggie at Pro-Formance today.
