I'm visiting my daughter at NEU from 11/1-11/3 and will be staying at XV Beacon Hotel. I'd very much appreciate knowing where the locals go to enjoy fine dining. Interestingly, Zagat only lists one restaurant.

go to locke ober on winter street for dinner staple of boston also duing the day go to the union oyster house in fanuel hall these are the two oldest resaturants in america have fun on your trip

Grill 23 is superb and not too far from where you are staying - short cab ride to back-bay. Easily one of the top 5 restaurants in bean town.

Or you could shoot over to Boston F1 for some carting and some grub at the on site restaurant.
