Default New member 1st post Tubi Exhaust

Hi Everyone,

Looking to add a few bolt on mods. Would love your suggestions. I'm looking at a Tubi exhaust. They sound great on Ferraris but was wondering if anyone has had one put on their 993 turbo. Also looking at Bilstein pss9 and wheel spacers. Was wondering how wide the spacers should be with stock wheels. I just want a lower aggressive stance. All your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

Welcome aboard.

Though Tubi advertises exhausts for the 993tt, there seems to be no stock around. Same goes for Supersprint. Seems most companies concentrate on the 996/997 platforms these days.

As for the PSS9, they come set from the factory and will lower the ride height w/o adjustment. But you can go lower if you perfer.

As to spacers, do a search here to find what others have done.

BTW, show us a picture of your ride.

Unless you can manage a group buy on w/Tubi I do not think they are available.

I guess you guys are right. I'm from Vancouver and there are quite a few 993 turbos up here. Weissach has these on their website, so I decided to call to see if they had any in stock. Special order only for 993. They do have stock for 996 and 997. Any suggestions on another exhaust system? My car is due to arrive this weekend. Black on grey leather with 23K miles, completely stock. Can't wait. Pictures to come when a few tasteful mods are put on.

Fabspeed might still make stuff, or CG.

I say go with the Fabspeed Muffler Bypasses. This is what I installed when I started to consider an aftermarket exhaust. You'll notice that though most companies advertise exhausts for the 993tt, but there's simply no enough demand for them to manufacture and stock them on the shelve.

I drove mine around for a year and a half out of the box stock. It was a little too quiet for me. I did some searching and ended up with the Fabspeed muffler bypass pipes and am glad I did. Just had them installed by the RUF guys here in Dallas last Friday.

I haven't noticed the hp gains they advertise, but the sound is phenomenal. Much more "burble" now but you can still hear the mechanicals. When cold starting, the noise at idle is louder than after the engine warms up. A little louder while cruising but you don't have to yell to the person sitting next to you. They have some decent videos at www.fabspeed.com.

Good thing is that they are bolt on and you can go back to stock if you don't like it. My advice is to drive it stock for a while because I think it sounds great stock too and then see if you need to do any mods.

Good luck

That's why I changed to AWE Muffler and Cat Bypasses. There's no stock at AWE and they don't know when they're getting any more made. I was lucky enough to purchase a new set from a RLister here.

As for sound, these are much much much louder than the Fabspeeds.

And the turbos definitely spool faster.

Forgot to mention GHL Mufflers.

They also have Muffler Bypasses.

Have heard others here were satisified with their products.
