High Tech aerodynamic aid
Carrying on the chat about very high speed stability check out my new state of the art modification
I have no idea whether this will do anything whatsoever but the original Ruf Yellowbird has one just like it.
It is made of PU and self tapped on - I am not taking bets on how long it stays on
What do we reckon, functional or plain stupid ?

Be sure to take a pic when a bump rips it off later today.
I'm a bit cynical after going thru 8 pairs of brake air scoops per the www.p-car.com mod.

Should be effective, anything to increase downforce in the front is helpful on these cars!! You should test with the AX22 the drag on deceleration with and without it!

TB: you should test that idea. I just wrote my topic about that "too low front downforce feeling" and your little spoiler might really help.
Could you test that in your private high speed test road

The wide body cars came wih something similar fitted at the factory, but it's missing off most cars now, too many low curbs!
And what's the deal with the steamed up Techart lights, I'm always trying to seal mine, as they seem to steam up more than my bathroom! Finally cracked it by running silicon around the bulb holders.

I can get the PU strips in different widths so could go even lower but somehow doubt their survivability
Just washed the car hence the condensation, hadn't noticed they were normally like that ?

I am building a large front CF lip (ala GT2 EVO) to fit under the bumper and see how it works, otherwise it all goes out and back for the EVO bumper before the season starts.

These are said to be good for an extra 20mph on a 993

I thought you'd be the first to try them. They knocked 8 seconds off my lap record of my island. Lots of affiliation etc.

TB,
The Ruf cars used very heavy wheels...why you may ask? So they would go straight at high speed.
So much for reducing unsprung weight.
No problem with the Gt2 front spoiler on the track. On the public roads which have a crown, over 140 mph it a little twitchy, but that could be due to the 3 degrees neg. camber. My CLS 55 benz in glued like a formula one car at 140.

Please don't sue if you don't get the extra 20mph
