That being said, it did hurt to pay as much as I did for this S, but it sure is clean and a perfect example of TTS.! The only thing the bummed me out, was, there is some oil leaking and the readiness test failed, so I'll be taking it to a Mechanic tomorrow, hopefully it's not a big deal.

Todd,

Where are you in the Bay Area? We locals have these semi-regular Wednesday evening meets. Hope to see you there in person one day. Check the 993 forum for details.

Thanks everyone for the comments.

Yes, I'm going to keep the TTS stock, however, with two exceptions, the first is PSS9 and lower by 3/4" the second is, it needs a new clutch, so I'm getting a second quote for GT2 Clutch with the light weight flywheel. The first quote was $4,168.00 and that includes 14 hours of labor, which seems really high to me. In fact on my last 97TT I think I paid $3,100 for the same replacement. Any thoughts?

i believe kevin sells it for around 2k and the standard price for a tech to install it shuld be between 1600 to 1800 i was quoted 1600 for new clutch installation from my tech 20 hours of labor at 80/hour

I would leave it completely stock, new-stock-shocks, stock clutch, etc. Any mod on that car will hurt it's value.
