I have the 993AWD installed in my 964T. How much power can the VC handle?

I am installing a 590HP engine now and was wondering if I should convert back to 2WD for the power output alone, I can take of the VS as well for an extra few kilos

Jeff ,very clean conversion,I've realized often the feel of my '94 Turbo could easily be acheived if only
it weren't for the AWD on my 993TT !!
Looking to convert my arena Red TT to 2WD specs soon as some other necessary chassis work is
completed ,thanks for sharing ...Bert

Is there any pic, where i can see how the new shiftbox has to be placed?

My Porsche center told be, the "plate" with the 4 screwholes has to be drill out!
Is that correct?

I thougght the shifterbox will be placed in the original tunnel, without any changes, an get 4 welding points and ready!

It would be great if somenoe can help me!

Do you made a pic with the installed shifter box?

Conversion is done! It works perfect and it drives fantastic!!!

But one point isn´t work out perfect in my eyes!

Without the transaxle at the transmission, the transmission only is mounted at one point and the engine at two points and i think that there is to much "work" at the transmission!

Has anybody change the transmission mounting? I think it has to be a little bit "stiffer"!

Greetings Christian
