Default Suspension

Where can you buy the factory ROW suspension? Also, is this the best suspension to go with without sacrificing the ride?

Thanks

does anyone have a picture of the 993TT set up with ROW M030, and could you also specify how much it was lowered?

Seen many pics of "lowered" 993TTs but never know how much are they lowered. Thanks!

I had the MO30 on my car when I got it and did not like it. It worked fine on the street but was terible on the track. I think you can do better for not much more money if your going to make the change.

What are your suggestions other than coilvers? I don't not track the vehicle.

Don't discount coilovers like the Bilstein PSS-9, they ride better than stock on the street and are not a tough install. Coilover is a bit of a radical sounding term, but in reality it's not track only.

What is their price compared to the MO30 suspension upgrade?

PSS9s were the best thing I ever did with my TT but I would suggest GT3 sways with them. They stress the OEM drop outs. The OEM shocks last about 10K miles- if mine were shot no way I go back to OEM suspension. PSS9s with 3-4 Front back for the street and 1-2 front back for track are just excellent.

PSS9s are about 2000-2500 if I remember correctly and then you can lower your car to ROW height.

Question from reading that: here is a quote from that P-car Web page,

The 993 Turbo already had the M030 sport chassis with the exception of a slightly firmer rear spring to compensate for the heavier rear weight.
Does that mean Turbos already have M030 springs?

It appears the difference between USA and ROW Turbos is:
http://www.carnewal-europe.com/cpx_p93063.htm
Euro springs for front and rear.
Factory M030 shocks for the rear.
21 mm stabilizer bar for the rear
2x 21mm rubber bushing for the rear stabilizer

Search front and rear axle:
https://techinfo.porsche.com/techinf...SA_KATALOG.pdf
It appears the Turbo springs are M030.

With all this confusion regarding USA/ROW/M030 springs, I highly suggest going with th Bilstein PSS9 setup. With this setup, you'll being changing the shock and the spring as a matched coilover set. Most Turbo owners have gone this route. Search PSS9. There a plenty of threads on it.

Here's a picture of my TT with the PSS9.
