Default Oil lines with check valves

Hi All,

I've done some reading and research on the 993TT oil smoking issues (likely causes, filter issues etc) and would like to source some of the oil lines with check valves - as used later model 911s. I see that FVD sells a "Oil Backflow kit" that is apparently OEM-PorscheMotor sport. I can't post a link yet (too few posts) but they're to be found at fvd dot de.

Am I correct in thinking that if I want to go use this kit I still need some additional lines, from Andial I think? Does any supplier just supply everything that one needs without combining orders? I'm UK-based but don't mind ordering internationally.

A

Sundiver

They will be able to supply you with everything you need to install it straight forward, send them an email and check with them. There are many other suppliers in case they don't, no big deal just report back here.

I got mine from Kevin at Ultimate Motorworks... is it ok to say that? I'm not affiliated... so I think it is ok.

Mine came from Tony Callis Racing in CA
That was the best money ever spent.

+1; Kevin @ UMW. From my due diligence a more elegant and simplified solution than the Andial (although the Andial product looks to be beautifully constructed as well). I think either will work. I just went with Kevin's solution from an ease of install perspective.

But aren't the Andial lines to replace the scavenge lines whereas Kevin's replace the feed lines?

Yes, Andial is the return lines. Thats a good move also. Those lines are humped upward above the oil in the crank case. The Tony Callis Racing gives you the feed lines and check valves and all the fitting you will need.
