Rollbar Setups

Rollbar Setups
I want to put some sort of roll bar setup in the TT... I was hoping to find something that doesnt cross over the path of the rear or side windows..
I remember reading that RUF incorporates a rollbar system inside the car and it follows the contours of the pillars all the way around the cabin.
Does anyone know where to buy a setup like this??
Also, any of you that have rollbar setups in the car, regardless of type, can you please post some pics.. Would love to see what you guys have done.
Thanks!

Having one custom built is an option. Not that much more expensive when I priced it out. Have a DAS one that's been sitting in storage for a year now. Don't really want to add the weight but my mechanic who club races says "you're gonna want that if you have an accident over 100mph". Still undecided on the need for it.

Uh, yeah, you REALLY want that rollbar if you drive fast or at the track. Go to www.wreckedexotics.com to see what a 911 looks like after a nice rollover.
I have the DAS bar in mine.

I know it is sacreligeous to criticize anything Ruf on this forum, but I have always wondered about that Ruf integrated cage. I have never seen a real cage that didn't have some cross bracing. I went to a local cage builder, who is very well respected around here, asking about a copy of the Ruf cage. He refused to do it saying he couldn't guarantee it would work.

Greg,
Ohhhh.... I'm telling on you. You will get a time-out from Alois.
I don't know anything about the Ruf integrated cages except that they are usually installed when the roof is removed. And then they often remove the rain gutters when they put the roof back on. How structurally sound is that cage? I'm not about to be struck by the same lightening bolt that's gonna get you.

Mine's a Heigo with separate harness bar. It's bolt in and bolt out, including the cross bar and rear tunnel supports. Pretty easy to unbolt the cross bar, tunnel supports and harness bar when not needed. Works for me/good compromise since my kids occasionally ride in the back seat.
