Default Wanted: Higher Mileage Black on Black Turbo

LOOKING FOR (WANTED): Black on Black (Maybe Silver with Black Interior) 96 or 97 Twin Turbo with HIGHER MILES that has been well maintained. Not looking for a track car. Top End work, new clutch, accumulator and slave work is preferred. Any upgrades are fine. The car must be free of accidents and paint work. Spray overs may be acceptable. Looking to purchase for $45,000 to $55,000 for your higher mileage turbo. Just sold my 97 lower mileage turbo and now want a higher mileage (over 45,000 miles) daily driver I can have fun with. If your tired of dealing with the career porsche wanna be owner's than contact me for a swift cash deal. I will require a PPI with compression test numbers and leakdown numbers. Under no circumstances will I think of buying your Turbo without those two tests, so be prepared to produce the results. Thanks for your help. You can call me at 207-329-1989 or email me at higginsbeach@maine.rr.com.

How can 45K+ miles be considered HIGH? 100+ maybe. No reason why a 50K mile car isn't in as good shape as your 22,000 mile car. I just don't get the hang up with miles.

I think that a 50k mile 993TT is a bit closer to $60k in typical, well cared for condition. And I'm not offended either since my car is also low mileage (109k miles)

Just emailed them. They usually deal in salvage titles i thought. Not sure why and how they acquired this one but it does initially meet my criteria. Higher miles and decent price. Wonder what auction would fetch for this one.

Thanks

Doug,

Rufus had 86,000 miles and was in great shape. However, as a condition of extending a warranty, Ruf insisted upon a total rebuild, including main/rod bearings, oil pump, chains, NEW heads, lifters... a total rebuild of the engine. I bought Rufus with 98k mikes. I couldn't be happier.
