I am trying to buy Kenny's on the 993 forum, but I don't want to waste the money if his Front Protection Bar won't fit my TT due to the Turbo "S" spoiler.
Thanks

I asked Gert this same question about a year ago. Answer was it would fit, but it wouldn 't be as effective with the spoiler, because it sticks out so far. He went on to tell me that he has customers who've used spacers between the bar and the chassis to get the bar a little closer to the ground.

I have heard that it really isn't at all effective on a TTS nose, even with spacers. The TTS spoiler is not only lower but also juts forward more as well.

Robert:
Yes it fits and it does help with bottom outs from potholes, etc.
The FPB cannot help with parking stop rash or funny angled drive way approaches as the lower lip of the TTS spoiler will hit first.... :^(

I had one on my lowered 993 with the GT3 front spoiler. While it doesn't stop some spoiler lip scrape..it does let you know you've got too much grade in front of you to safely pass over. I'd get one as a precaution.

Thanks, guys.
Yes, I have noticed this pre-molded lip that acts as a bar. The problem it that it is still painted the color of the car. The good thing is it's so damn low to the ground, no one can see it has met pavement. God forbid I get an even lower suspension!!!
Based on the angle of the lip to the ground and the front wheels, I decided to pass on the FPB for now. It might have been a good precaution, but I think the range of angles that it actually protects is extremely limited.
Thanks again guys.

I found out from the 993 board that it will in fact fit the 993 TT. The problem with mine is I have the Turbo "S" lip which sticks out much further and is much lower than the original bumper lip, therefore making the FPB almost worthless unless you put several spacers in. Even if you do, the curb has to be so low that it only hit s the FPB first. Since my car is lowered with the M030 springs, I think it's a waste of time.
