Welcome to Rennlist and the wonderful world of TT's.
Always good to see a new MI Rennlister.
993TT's are a pretty rare bird in this part of the world.

David,

Welcome aboard. You are SOOOOOO not alone at sneaking in the garage at all hours just to gaze on one of automotivedom's great works of art. And I can NEVER park my car without a glance back. OK, I lied. Several glances back. Rufus has 109k miles.

dfsmith,
I am also in Oakland TWP and have used Kern at Lavery as well as Phil at Auto Europe on Eaton Street in Birmingham. Auto Europe has treated me very well over the last 4 years I've owned my 96TT.
Enjoy!

We all do since the 996TT is such a hot car to look at and drive

Thanks, good to be here. Wish our roads were a bit better, I was on University today between Brewster and Old Perch and I think I lost a few fillings.

Grant, Thanks a lot but I'm not so sure on the elevated IQ, I spent the day today driving around town running errands and had my 11 year old daughter with me. She asked if she could shift the car from the passenger seat so I said why not. I let her shift throughout the day and we had fun with it, a bonding experience etc. Well we were back at the house and heading back out so I asked her to get in the car and I would be there in a minute. Well apparently I did not engage the parking brake and she decided to practice her shifting and got in in neutral...................well as they say a picture is worth a thousand words...................

Note: Car and Daughter survived with no damage

David,

Any chance I might be able to hear your car before you have the bypass pipes taken off ???
If not I may still like to buy them if you would like to get rid of them.

You're definitely not alone on the trip to the garage just to stare...I'm on my way right now to grab a Grolsch and rub the fender on Heidi!!! :-) If that makes us weird then I feel bad for all the normal people, cause they're missin out!!!
