Default Show me your GARAGE!!!

Guys,

I'm building a new 2 cars garage in a few months. I'm reviewing my plans and starting to think about how I will decorate it inside. Obviously my Porsche will be the queen of it I'm shopping for flooring, cabinets and accessories...

I need some inspiration from real enthusiasts!!
POST SOME PICS!!

Thanks
Pierre

My garage doesn't always look this neat, but perhaps you can get some ideas.

Steve,

Will you at least put some plywood against all that crap so it doesn't fall on Rufus! One half decent earthquake and I shudder to think of the consequences.

BTW, love the new avatar and those brakes are unbelievable!

There is a discussion on the 993 board about some relatively inexpensive floor tiles.

Build it with enough height that you can put a lift in one day, should you need to.

Check out UDPrides garage. Work of art. You can see it from his Turbo Photo file: refer to the 911 turbo forum 'WTB 80's 930"

One thing to remember when doing your lighting is to use fluorescent lights - and lots of them. This type of light will help you the most when either working on your car and especially during indoor polishing/detailing. While some more stylish lighting options might look cool, they won't help you like surface mounted fluorescents. I guess if you are really blowing it out, then you can have a mix of both for what you are trying to do at the moment.
