Treated the car to its first ever professional Zymol detail by Elite detailing http://www.elitedetailing.co.uk
based in the Midlands (UK)
It took 12 hours - Because the weather is so bad in the UK it had to be done in my garage.
The downside to this is that I went to the garage this morning ready to drive it to work and could not bring myself to take it out onto the filthy, sodden roads !!

Looks AWESOME (as always) When is the GT2 tail going on to match the rest of the car?

The wheels are the new BBS aluminum centers that have replaced the older magnesium center style found in their racing wheel line. These are true race wheels, although the center locking cap looks to be faux with the wheels mounted with the standard 5 lugs.

Geoffrey is right about the wheels, although the centre lock is a dummy, there is not really any alternative (other than leaving the grubby hub cap showing) since the hole is larger than stock Porsche centre caps. They are 11X18 rear @ 10kg ea and 9X18 front @ 9.5kg. Because the race wheels have zero coating on them at all they are not suitable for road use unless you clean them meticulously after each outing. These have been (expensively) stripped and clear anodised rims with enamelled painted centres -so far the finish is proving durable against the elements
The steering wheel is from Techart, it is stock 993tt made smaller and features carbon, alacantra and leather - design courtesy of MOD500

When I was a kid I had a black and silver Mach 1 Mustang and lived in Chicago. My girlfriend's family left on a Xmas vacation and let me use their heated garage to detail my car. It was a typically hideous Chicago winter and I couldn't bear to take it out once primped. So I walked everywhere in the slush for a week until they returned and I had to pull it out into the elements. I was in tears!
