Small world - for our parts anyway
So a local Rennlister here in Florida comes over so I can work on his 993TT. It has a Turbo S front and rear spoiler on it. He bought this car from a Rennlister in the DC area about 6 months ago. Well I open the decklid on the wing and notice some peculiar things with it. There is a cut out on the underside right above the ISV valve. Then it hits me. This is MY old wing that I bought off a Rennlister a few years ago. I confimed this just by looking on the corner where I had to clearance the decklid for my larger intercooler. Last I had seen of it was when I sent it to Al (Rennlister) in Detroit. Pretty strange that it would find me 3 owners later here in Fl... Here is a pic when it was on my car...

Bob,
That is a funny story! Good to hear from you.
When are you coming to Cali? I am almost ready for my annual check-up. I want to install a new steering wheel as well.
I am sure we can round up a bunch of other BAR guys who can use some work over the "winter"!

Sorry Alon, I think he would notice it missing....
Yes those are Forgelines. SX3Rs with 12" rears weighing in at 21 lbs. The new ZX3Rs are even lighter (under 20). I've had GREAT luck with them personally, and with all the sets I've sold.
That is a GT2ish front spoiler. Actually a carbon fiber piece... The front bumper is just a narrow body one with the bumperettes filled.
Thanks Steve and Hal. Maybe I will get out there next month. CP already gave me his travel schedule for Jan/Feb so that he can plan for the BBQ....

Missed the last BBQ, but definately won't want to miss this one if you're back in town for a few days!
Great talking to you a while back Bob (I bought the GR 993tt in Alameda). A wealth of knowledge and great guy. Would be nice to finally meet in person!

Sorry Alon, but Bob is correct, I would notice the missing "S" wing. I do have a nice stock wing to sell if anyone's interested. One of these days I'll post pictures of el Diablo once I get them off my memory card. It's only been a year so I've got some time.

Hey Bob,
Good to see you back in this neck of the wood. We have great weather the last few days. Perfect for running a 993tt hard.
Love to see you back here in perseon, even if it is only a visit.
