I replaced my battery today. Car started like a clock. I let it idle a bit and then just cruised it around.

I read about the computer resetting after 10 minutes in the manual. After the car was warm I did the 3rd gear boost check. (something told me to check maybe the car didn't sound all that right.) Well sure enough my bar would not pass .5.

Is the computer not reset? Or is it something else?

Glad to hear you have the beast running again.

I recently replaced my battey too, but did not experience that problem. Were you able to achieve boost of 8 prior to it's replacement?

Hey Marty, in the thread below (regarding the .58 boost) Rick suggests disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes (worked for him). Worth a try.

Bill, yes I had .8 no problem prior to the disconnect.

Maybe I will try the 15 minutes.

Everyday has been a learning experience with this car!

Just want to do everything right out of the gate.

It's that never owned a Porsche before syndrome!
