Cool 993TT Photos......

All I ever seem to see are photos of 996TT's. Any of you interested in posting some 993TT photos? Do any of you have the carbon interior? I am thinking of having the full carbon package installed but have found it difficult to find photos.

Wolf,

Here are a few links:-

My car has a two-tone Midnight Blue and Provence Blue full leather interior but I have no pictures. Carbon interiors are a popular "upgrade" at rennlist and you will see many links if you do a search. Carbon and Full leather may be slightly more common in the turbos but you will find some in the 993 forum too.

As regards posting shots, sure... go ahead. To attach photos, click on the "Image" button under Instant UBB Code. The pop up boxes are self-explanatory. You can also do posting via URLs by clicking the URL button.

All the best with your carbon package installation.

Jeff

Thanks for the pics. What are the black plastic/rubber blocks for on the front/rear bumpers? We don't have them in Australia. We also have side indicator repeaters, Europe spec I guess.

What you don't have are "bumperettes" as we call them here. They are mandated by the Canadian authorities and thought to make a difference in an impact. As to the side blinkers, they are European spec as you guessed. Some automobile manufacturers have begun leaving them on North American cars recently.

I see that you live in LA. Can you suggest a good motorsport store in the LA area? (somewhere near Torrance would be good!) I need to buy a new Helmet/Gloves/ Boots etc. I'll be in town next week!! Is there a Porsche rental place anywhere, I would like to check out some of those Californian Roads!!

I don't know too many motorsport places but Sub Sports is not too far from Torrance. They are very good shop and carry most everything.

As to renting a Porsche, try Beverly Hills Rent-a-Car. They are located near LAX and have quite a selection of sports cars. There is also a Budget Rent-a-Car in Beverly Hills that specializes in exotics. You can find it through the Budget web site.
