Basal, if no one clarified already:

1996 did not have clutch switch to start the car, but did have that
goofy, cumbersonme key fob thingy:

In my case, Todd at Protomotive "programmed" it out of my car, and I just loved
to be able to just turn the key to start without all the Key fob monkey business as well.

Both of my 1996 turbos had no clutch pedal switch.

That is very , very nice...audio ecstasty. Surprisingly, even a watercooler can appreciate that startup. All you need is a remote start. Everytime you go to the beer refrigerator in the garage just push the start button.. Kevin
