I am planning on replacing my stock stereo system in my 993 Turbo in the next week. Can anybody inform me to the size of the cut outs in the doors and rear deck. The door cut outs look like 6 1/2" for woofer, 4" for mid range, and 1" for tweeter. I have no idea what the rear deck cut outs are. Thank You guys,

I see that you guys are truly more interseted in the performance of your cars rather than the quality of the radio systems in them. I looked in the the PET cd and the service manuals and couldn't find the speaker sizes. I'll take a look again tonight.

I pulled my lower door panel for you. The upper single tweeter is a given, right. In premium sound enclosure we have two speakers measuring 3.11" O.D. with two offset tabs for mounting, this measurement is 3.46" centerline of bolt holes.

The woofer has the a square shape design not a cirle like most speakers. Outside to outside is 5.18" and bolt centerline is 5.62" Hope that helps, you can measure your rear plates. And yes the components are made by Nokia.

Thank You very much for taking the time to take apart your car for me. You really didn't have to take the trouble to do that, but it is greatly appreciated. I didn't even know that Nokia had a good name in, or manufactured car audio equipment .
