Hi Brian,
You from London sometimes?
Near me, in Uxbridge, Power Engineering, they are high performance guys (but non Porsche) and do runs for some pretty serious machines including Ferraris. I have printed the advice from Ninemeister to show my guy.

I'm from London mostofthetimes right now. We moved here about 18 months ago (loving it BTW) and should be here at least that long again. But I do get back to California a lot more often than does my wife. As you can see from my signature line my TT is not exactly stock, and before I consider making it even less stock I'd like to get a baseline dyno run done. Where do you imagine the closest reputable place to Central London is?

Note that my dyno runs in the thread Kevin referenced was done in AWD on an AWD dyno. The powertrain loses are higher with AWD so you can expect to be closer to 350RWHP when you disconnect the front wheels and run on a 2 wheel dyno.

What is the tuning kit you have Hans? Surely K-24's or larger, intercooler, etc.

that is serious power to the wheels!

The modifications are quite simple but effective. I must mention that on the Gatebil Exhibition last week-end several other Extremecars were dynoed as well. The Escort with 693 hp on the wheels, an extreme modified Volvo with Audi 5 cylinder had 702 hp, an Audi S2 with 670 hp while a Supra had 822 hp and another had 869 hp on the wheels. This is record in Europe. The Toyotas are not at all fast on the track, they either haves turbolag or wheelspin and are easily overtaken by the Porsche. Power isn't everything.

You can see some pictures of my car in my profile on the Gatebil website:

There are also some videos on youtube.com, search on "frisak"

I agree Jean, but this particular nuthead is not my son, it is a Swedish driver; Niklas Bjorck. His quattro is shortened and has 800 hp and weighs only 800 kg. I do watch out when he is around as you may understand.
