Moisture under carpeting
Hi all,
I've had my '97 Turbo S for well over a year, and just last week, I was nosing around the stereo wiring, and noticed that the insulation underneath the floor carpet on the rear passenger side was wet. The carpet was completely dry, and I don't know how long it's been that way, but the insulation was completely ruined. I couldn't find any moisture anywhere else on the car, and am wondering if anyone has any thoughts on what I should be looking out for.

Just read your post. Normally stay in the 993 boards but killing time and jumped to the TT board. I had the same thing happen in my 993. After a lot of searching at the dealer they determined it was a rear window leak in the lower left hand corner where the windshield curves. They pulled it out and reinstalled with new caulking or whatever else they use and it has been dry ever since. Mick
