advice on non-red Big Reds
My Arctic Silver TT has factory "exclusive" titanium-colored Big Reds. A very clean look, but aesthetically one of my favorite aspects of the TT look is the flamboyant red calipers behind the twists. Would powder-coating these things be heresy in a totally stock TT (which probably won't stay that way for long)? Or would it be better to search for someone to swap with (seems more difficult). Throwing down money on a new set of Big Reds doesn't sit well as my "Porsche fund" is nearly reached critical mass for PSS-9's, and will soon return to $0.

you have a great car with great brakes. You could probably spend the money better elsewhere on:
1. Other upgrades that will actually improve the car
2. Taking your significant other to a nice place or buying a nice gift so that when you spend big money on your next upgrade you won't get nagged so much!!!

Why not just pull the calipers and have them powder coated red? Check out this link: <a href="http://p-car.com/caliper/" target="_blank">http://p-car.com/caliper/</a> for instructions on doing this.
