Very nice -- if anyone looks at it, they should check to see if it has the upgraded ECU. The photo of the dash shows the switch to choose between the two fuel maps that were used by the original ECU.

I think its different from the one in Colorado, simply because that one had a Turbo S tail (and turbo S script) and I think different wheels. No idea what happened to that one in Colorado -- they were trying to sell it for around $76K with the first generation ECU and someone on RL had, I think, discovered it had been in some type of accident. It would be interesting to find out where it is.

As I mentioned before, I feel if you want a modded car it is better to buy one that somebody else took the hit on the upgrades. You Andial guys can chime in....but I would estimate the engine upgrade alone at somewhere in the $50k range. You probably won't find that many 3.8's that have low miles (under 35,000). If the car checks out I would say it should sell in the high $70's to mid $80's.

I was looking at that car the other day. The andial 3.8 is a 50G upgrade, which you can't even get anymore. I think you can still get the parts - but I don't think they do the work anymore. At the www.andial.com site in their "cars of interest" section there's an old excellence article @ the upgrade if your mouth isn't watering enough after the pics of the one on the Ruf site. My big question would be what was the mileage before the conversion was done. If it was done on the 40-50K mi range I think this thing is defintely bargain in the mid 80's. Good thing I didn't this on the market when I was looking for mine...

damn you eagle eyed guys!
so anyone that has read my posts about turbo shopping now knows this is the car i was trying to keep on the down low while i've been figuring out financing, and whether or not to sell my 993S in order to buy it.
I spent a few hours at the dealership recently. car has paint chips commesurate with the mileage. but I love polar silver.
I apologize for not telling everyone about this because I really want this car and am trying to work on both the price and the sale of my current car.
I figure that a r'lister with more cash than me would probably try and swoop on it or outbid me, hence my radio silence. this was the car i lost sleep over- "can't sleep after a test drive"
guess i can reopen that thread with more details.
