Default 200 Cell cats

Have a chance to install these. I was advised by a specialist in Germany that the 100 cell cats last about 5000 miles whereas the 200 cell versions last pretty much as long as the stock items. The shop does some very good work and I'm impressed with the guy who runs it and his team. Any ideas why the 100 cell versions have such a relatively short life?

Not all cats are made the same.. Tuning also has a direct impact on cat life.. If you are running rich and if you are running small 100 cell units, the ECU struggles with idle fueling.. Running rich at idle will cause your cats to burn out..

Thanks for the info. I've decided to go for the 200 cell versions (130mm)
