I did mention "true" 700HP. There are many <10second 1.6 Bar dyno runs showing over 700HP peak that does not hold on the street.
Is there any 930 running 5 second 60-130mph?

Hi Bradford,

Miles, I would like to get some feedback from you once your 3.8 FVD P&C's are installed. This is the set up I have and I would like to compare notes.

Jean, c'mon David Knebes' car certainly makes that much and for all the big hp builds on Rennlist and Pelican there are many out there that do not frequent these boards.

quite a few 3.4 930's (with air cooling and 2 valve heads)???
NOT a lot I wouldnt think...DKeibes possibly, and you may as well, but when RUF was doing
930 motors he did not ever have a 700 HP car. Protomotive, and Bob Holcomb may have
a few out there. Do not believe what is advertised (hp).
Good Luck,
Marty K.

Check Protomotives web site. 700? I'm not sure, but bucu HP. You bet. Protomotive affil's build strong engines. Like I said, 700HP?, I'm not usre, but it can be done, safely. Look at the protomotive web site and look at the dyno numbs. My car is incredible. No issues or drivability probs whatso ever.

The dyno on the Protomotive website is my car's. My car is a 3.8 Ltr...with very unorthodox tuning done to it, but when a 3.4 Ltr needs to go to 1.4-1.5 bar to achieve similar numbers, those won't hold on the street (not saying that my 700HP will either, but they were done at much lower boost).. They do look good on a dyno chart and can also be compared vs other similar dyno runs of course, does not mean these are real street HP..
DKnebes' car is fantastic and very fast, and I have seen the dyno charts, however I don't agree to 800 FWHP on the street, more like 600+. One needs to dig into the numbers if he is to make a judgment about how much HP the car is putting to the ground through a 60-130mph run. I am not trying to put David's car down, not at all, it is a magnificient beast and the fastest air cooled so far on that run, I have my own version of the numbers though. I will soon post a back-up to what I am saying.

.. and the other engine is the twin of mine with lower compression and hydraulic followers...600 HP with small turbos, MAF, evo cams, and a 3.8...(at roughly 1 bar my runs about same HP with .8-.9 bar and 8.9 CR)
. my old 3.3 TT pressure sensing rig turned about 560 at the crank(dynoed) at 1.2 bar as I may have said... and would probably be 650-680 at 1.4 which the new owner didn;t want to risk... so a 3.5 running 1.4 pressure sensing, twinplug etc..as Jean said will twist to 680-720ish crank... and ironically I'd like to know how many blow-up versus how many had a missed shift.. my guess is missed shifts and over-rev on burnouts-launch and detonation bury more engines than just street based hard running...btw not sure how many folks know, but most porsches will trash the rod bearings if they exceed about 7700-7800 rpm without extensive mods... jsut talkin' sh*t on a friday afternoon...
.. I defer to all the track guys on track engine uses... Hey Jean!
there are several dyno pulls on file here that exceed 700 HP, and some 935/934 stuff in 700's... but as many will tell you (Steve form Rnnsport?) they never expectred more than 20-25 hours on an engine and threw away most of the parts.. JMHO...
