Default Post turbo system weight of my car. Small update

Hey everyone,

Just a small update for the fellow weight watchers.

I got my car onto some scales last night and she came out at.......

2720 lbs with a full tank of gas.

Looks like I was able to keep her in the same svelt form from before the turbo system was added. (last time I weighed in before the conversion was 2650 at 3/4 tank)

Also......the car shoots little flames on decel now.

Needless to say, I'm quite happy with the weight staying relatively the same

Thats 1234kg, fantastic weight for a 993 with tts

I know you have done it before, but it would be really helpul to us "weight watchers" if you could list the items lost/replaced and the weights saved ?

TB - I'll see if I can find that list. It was on an old pc that crashed. Hopefully I saved it somewhere else.

1,234 kgs with full fuel is spectacular weight. Quick question if I may:
Did you retain any of the insulation, power steering, airbags, aircon, radio?

AV - The car retains aircon, power steering, abs, and power windows. No radio or insulation.

Final questions: 2wd or 4wd? Any cf parts apart from hood and rear deck? How about bumperbeams?

Base car was a carrera 2.

Bumperbeams are long gone.

CF parts include - sunroof delete plug, hood, decklid, radio delete plate, dead pedal, pedal board, shifter, instrument cluster surround, mirrors, door panels, hood and decklid shocks are now spun carbon rods.
