Default Yoko Advan A048 anybody run em

Blackie needs new shoes and my favorite street/track tire the Pirelli Corsa is being discontinued. I've run MPSC, but as a street/track tire its..well marginal.

I see Yokohama has the Advan A048 that was designed for 911's and turbo's.
They seem to have the right size diameters for all wheel drive. I'd be running a 315/30/18 on an 11" wheel and a 235/40/18 on the 9" fronts. Yes, I know this may understeer, I have the Hoosiers for the serious track stuff. I need some feedback if anyone has run them.

I dont run them on my 993TT, but they work very well on my other car (Lotus). They don't last very long, some people only get about 5-8K out of them (mostly street with some auto-x or track).

Jimmy,
Bought these tires a month ago. Street usage and 1 DE so far. Very good tire, sticky and cheaper than the Pirellis (I had the Corsa on my car previously). The only downside: They are noisier than the Pirellis.

Thanks for the feedback, hoping some other rennlisters will chime in. I'm interested in what kind of camber they like. Given they were designed for 911 and tubos, will see how long it takes for a head to head comparison with MPSC.

I've been using them on my narrow body 993 (225 fronts and 265 rears) and wrote up a bit about them from my initial experiences:
