I've never had any of my wheels refinished, but Wheel Enhancements in Culver City has a great rep. I just called to ask about refinishing my Ruf wheels... they were very familiar with the finsh, and said that the Ruf special paint (same or similar to Techart) cannot be legally used in the USA. Dang.

Steve - I also called Wheel Enhancement last week as I have ordered the paint from RUF. They referred me to a wheel refinisher in North Hollywood. I spoke to them and am going to stop by their shop when I get back in town. They charge $180-$200 per wheel and they like to remove the tires themselves. I will give you the contact info when I return.

Scott,
I was over at my body shop today (Camarillo), and spoke to him about painting our wheels. He said no problem, but we should dismount the tires ourselves. He is pretty reasonable, and his paint guy (you've seen Rufus) is superb. If we bring him 8 wheels and paint, I'd bet we'd get a smoking good deal. I only hope that he doesn't mix up the wheels, and accidently give me your magnesium units. That would be a darn shame. Darn shame. Now I'm sorry I even mentioned it.
