By fan relay do you mean the oil cooler fan relay R04? If so, I think Term 87 -- pin #5 is ground but there is a much easier solution for what you might be trying to do that takes advantage of a failsafe mechanism in the CCU.

how do you know if you fan is working ? I have installed a RUF GT2 oil cooler on the driver's side of the car and i still am hitting 9 oclock on the oil temp gauge after a 20 min run on the track. This is lower than I used to read for oil temp but seems like it should be even less. My friend has a manual switch to turn on his fan (passenger side I believe). I may be way off here but isn't that fan suppossed to run at 2 speeds, high and low. I have no idea if it is running at high but when i pull into the pits it should be running at least at low ???? Right ?

Thanks! I had seen that and thought a ground run was easier.. on second thought maybe not....

....For Andy.. I think the low speed fan ocmes on at 230 and the high speed fan is something silly like 260??? So if I'm correct 9 oclock may not even turn on low speed...(it's close) 194-6? and 248 are the hash marks to my memory...
