GT3 Bug Bit Me...Another 993TT for Sale
I test drove a 05 GT3 Saturday. I can only imaging how the 997 GT3 will be, but I can't shake the I-want-it-now syndrom. So the 993TT goes:
1997 Guards Red/Black
26,280 Miles – No accidents – Clear title – Clear Carfax
All books, records, original window sticker and invoice, tools, etc.
All options and upgrades are GENUINE PORSCHE FACTORY parts.
Major service just performed at Porsche dealer at 25,800 mi, in March 06
Brand new Pirelli P-Zero tires, with less than 50 miles (mounted May 3, 06)
Porsche Factory Options:
• Full leather Interior
• Oval chrome exhaust pipes
• Factory sport seats with Porsche crests in head restraint
• Inferred security system
• Deluxe Digital Sound
• Remote 6 disc CD changer
Porsche Factory Upgrades:
• Carbon fiber 3 spoke steering wheel
• Carbon fiber dash and gauge cluster
• Carbon fiber shift **** and brake handle
• MO30 Porsche Sport Suspension with RoW springs (European ride height), with Bilstien HD adjustable shocks (less than 500 miles)
• Turbo S chin spoiler
• Turbo S brake vents with integrated HID fog lights
Clear Bra paint protection (complete package install), includes bumper, Turbo S chin spoiler, headlight shields, ¼ hood, mirrors, fender well trailing edges, door edges, under door handles.
Custom made Microfiber indoor/outdoor lockable car cover
Mid to low $70's I guess.

Hi Craig,
We met briefly at the Euro car event in Calabasas a couple weeks back. You seemed so excited to get your new Ruf engine going....what happened? The GT3's prices are getting very attractive and if you like to track your car, that's probably a good choice. However, if you put a 993tt and GT3 side by side, the 993TT is the clear winner in the looks category . Good luck on your decision.

I know it was Bob. As much as I like the car, the value of my 993TT plus the $35K it would cost to RUF it will put me in a brand new 997 GT3. Even after RUF, it's not a competitive car against the modern Porsches.
I'm scratching both itches with a full blown race car and a really cool street car that I can drive to DE's.

Wow! I hate to lose one of the Guards Red 993 TT brethren, but at least we're not losing a Porsche fanatic. I have never ridden in a GT3 and I probably shouldn't. ALthough, even if it handles better, is faster, etc..... I still couldn't give up the looks of the 993 family, the TT body and that big fat a$$!! It was my dream car the moment I saw the brochure. I never thought that I would actually own one. yay me!!
On a side note, thanks again for the great deal on the bypass pipes. I can't wait to get them on the car. I'll report back how I think they sound.
Any other 993 TT parts and pieces you want to sell really cheap???

Its the only fat *** that I ike - and it was my dream car as a kid. My dad bought a 76 and opted to have the TAIL taken off!!!! I always wanted on and for my 32nd BDay bought a beauty. Now I am thinking of selling, but whenever I see my car (especially the ****) I say damn that is awesome.
