Default Recaro Seats Group Buy?

I am not certain of organizing group buys for non sponsors but I e-mailed John D and got no response. Anyone interested in purchasing Recaro seats and sliders from an authorized Recaro distributor, PAR in New York. Please Post here if interested rather than PM I am never fast enough to respond individually. Thanks Lincoln Phillip

What would you like to know? There are no requirements for seat models we can pick and choose from the entire line, what I have been discussing I just the group buying power with the distributor in New York.

What seats are you planning to buy?
I suggest you shop around .. i did a Recaro topline group buy last summer from FVD (a rennlist sponsor) and it worked out great; prices were far better than what Par quoted.
Feel free to contact me if u want details.

We can any seat currently offered by Recaro, they don't even have to be the same model. We need to put together a list of request to forward to the distributor.

I am interested. I want a pair of black, leather sport toplines. I am willing to pay $1250 per seat. That's 20% off list. This seems like a reasonable discount for a group buy.
Anyone think that is unreasonable?
Thanks.

remember to price in discounts on the cost of ordering the mounting brackets as well.

You should negotiate with your supplier upfront as to what discount you/he is offering the group.

As said, i did a group buy for Leather Toplines last summer and found that Par relatively poor pricing .. just fyi.

Rob:

Who did you end up purchasing through for the group buy? Can you reveal the discount that was given? Wish I had been in the position to join last years group buy, but just couldn't swing it then

Now that you have had your seats for a while, any comments?

I'd like the Sportline/Topline (always get them confused). Looking for power/heated/fan/5pt, and I'd like to get the leather matched from Porsche with the cashmere color.

BTW...will a 3" harness with the associated hardware (adjustment buckle and such) fit in that slot?
