I am now an official rennlist adict you guys are so knowledgeable and i can tell by the care you take in answering my questions that you really care about your fellow 993tt owner driver. anyways i assume take it to a pro to get the oil changed

Hahaha... this is such a goofy thread. Here a poor guy asks a simple question and gets bombed with technical details. Oil changes on a 911... who knew it could be such a challenege. Ok... on oil changes... take it to some one that REALLY knows 993s, and hopefully 993TTs. Be sure you use genuine Porsche dealer oil filters. Do NOT use the Mahle filters... the Mahle work fine on all but the turbos. Really. There are so many horror stories of huge clouds of oil smoke right after someone changed the oil. You can also lose your turbos by using the wrong filters. Ask me how I know.
