Total 911 article on 9M heads
I stumbled on issue 12 of Total 911 magazine tonight. It had an article on the 964 3.8RS and 964RS which I wanted to read. In any case, there is an excellent article on Colin's head.

Geoffrey, I believe this is different from the "Perfect Bore" heads article that came out on Excellence (or similar) a few weeks back? They were talking about state of the art heads for the 993 engines built by Perfect Bore in the UK. The question is whether the cost of the heads $1600 or so each!) is worth the 20-25HP or so that you will be getting out of them.. (The price quoted is not for the heads built for Colin, which I don't know).

Yes I read that and Total 911 said is it worth spending that kind of money on a 964...
If only everyone wanted them, then they could be mass produced... or perhaps Porsche will give all their future head manufacturing to Colin!
The 9m heads are a work of art tho. Geoffrey bought a set so they must be good.
