Default Dual mass flywheel question

Anyone got any idea as to how much movement in the flywheel is acceptable?

Replace it with a RS lightweight unit. Did you end up pulling the trans or engine?

~15mm and it should "return to the starting position afterwards," if it remains in that position or goes over 15mm then it is time for a new flywheel.

We pulled the whole unit, just as well as I need to replace/repair the heat shields and do some other minor tinkering. I'm very tempted to get the carnewal lwf kit! Please tell me I need it

Movement is hard to measure on the car, the gel between the two parts moves once there is heat in the engine/flywheel.....easiest way to tell is if you get a slight delay or knock when coming on or off the gas......try this while driving with hot engine...
