The chatter comes from the springs on the clutch disk. When vendors supply parts that are not Porsche you get problems. It could also have been a installation error with to much of angle of attack when aligning the trans to the engine, which can cause damage to the clutch components. There is noise, but isn't bad..

Can the LWF/Clutch be installed withOUT dropping the motor? Or, is dropping the motor required on our cars.

To be quite honest... I don't really know if there is any noise, I think from reading all the past threads... I expected to hear the noise and think that I am hearing the noise... doesn't really matter to me. The car drives differently compared to before the LWF/Clutch (26k miles)... much faster reving... much more responsive and I love it.

Rob you can do it both ways.. However, if you need any mechanical work done on your engine, having out of the car will lesson the repair labor bill.. Plug wires, valve cover gaskets. Any steering pump seals or lines.. If all is okay, just drop the tranny.

Many Rennlister's have purchased this kit when stepping up to my turbochargers... I have it in stock..
Hi Kevin,

Do you ship international?

I just picked mine up from Kevin on friday. The tranny was removed last night and hopefully we will have it all back together soon. The engine was not removed to do the install.

Hi Jay,

perfect and smooth transaction!!!

Thanks a lot!!!

The turbo will come in the middle of august!

One eye smile and one eye cry! Because my 964 will go the next days and it was a great car!!!
black, black, C2, interior fullleather RS sytyle and a over 400 PS tubro engine with a watercooled intercooler!

But my wife called the car "animal" and she was afraid while driving!

Greetings Christian
