According to Fabspeed...
"Shaves 2/3 second on 3rd gear acceleration from 3000 - 5500 rpm. More flow than anything on the market!
Represents approximately a 30 hp 1-hour bolt on improvement "
But I find that 30 hp statement hard to believe...having said that...I LOVE EM...they are really only loud at low rpms..makes my neighbor bow his head in shame as I pull into the garage.....
.........you do save some weight w/o those stock mufflers....

Kaza,
Any reduction in "post-turbo" back pressure is a good thing. How good depends upon many factors, including the modification state of the engine. But there should be some, if not too significant, improvement, even on a stock engine. Other benefits are a nice reduction in rear-end weight, and more cooling flow to the turbos. Oh... and the nice sound! Be warned, some people do not like the sound, others like it. Me? I love it.

Kaza,
I'm now looking at your avatar... it appears that your car is a C2S. If that is true, then the bypasses are not for you. They work on the turbos because the turbos units themselves act as a muffler, making the actual muffler somewhat optional. Not so in the case of a normally aspirated car. You'll hate it.

Tx alot for you all.
CA993twin. I have a C2s and a TT. I am planning to replace my avitar. Would have loved to put the pics of my TT. My car is very much stock, but for an Oiler Coolers "S". Would you thing this simple Mod will make that much of a difference. I'll take your offer about coming to Cal. to see and hear your bypass. How about end of May....

That's why my car doesn't sounds loud enough for me after I install the Fabspeed Muffler today .
I've listen to my friend's C4S Fabspeed , much much better sound , so ......... If I want the same sound as Fabspeed on C4S , I should go with the Muffler Bypass ?............Right ?.......Thanks

NA1-T,
Turbo cars rarely, if ever, make the same sweet music as an normally aspirated car. We can make our turbos a bit louder, but that's about the best we can do. This is the biggest downside of a turbo car. I accept the penalty, gladly.
