Shoot me a PM around the 25th of this month. There will be a A-red turbo with the grey GT3 seats in leather over at the PCA/DE at Heartland Park 28th-30th. I will get a pic then if no one hs responded to your request.

I'm 5'9" so don't have much of an issue. However, on some big bumps at the track my head did touch the roof so I had the seat lowered another 1/2".
The nice thing is at the track you can just remove the bottom seat cushion and get well over an 1" lower.

I'm 6'3". With the stock sport seats in my C4S or the std seats in my turbo I could not wear a helmet.
I have the GT3 seat with the Brey-Krause brackets (you'll see details if you search on the 993NA board). I find them more comfortable than the standard seats, and when I remove the cushion I fit fine with a helmet. As Pete mentioned, there's at least an inch to be gained if not more.
There's also a huge weight savings. The sports seats are heavy. The 12-way power seats with heaters in my turbo were incredibly heavy.
I kept the passenger side stock so I could get to the back seat (the GT3s don't recline), and because I couldn't convince my girlfriend to give up a heated, reclining seat....

Craig, I just sold a set of GT3 seats to a Rennlister in Santa Barbara. I'll see if he can post some pics.
The GT3 seats with the 996 brackets and sliders sit pretty high in a 993 (about 1-1/2"s over a stock seat). There are some Brey Kruase brackets that bring the seat into a more stock type position. You can see on Pete's seats that his shop had to drill a new hole for the seat mount, and clearanced the bracket around the lap belt opening just to get down a 1/2". Also the seat travel for a 993 is inhibited when using the 996 slider. So the combination of a Recaro slider and the BK mount will get the seat in the proper location and give full slide capability.

Craig, the GT3 seats I was going to take a picture of for you, I sat in them with my helmet on before I selected what seat to buy. At 6'2" the head room was too tight, as Bob said a BK/Recaro slider will get you the leg room you need with the GT3's , but I had to go with Sparco Evo's based on the height alone. I still leave the seat cushion in too.

Just to clarify, I have the 993 sliders and mounts so the seats were very close to stock height. Gert can still get them but you have to be patient; took almost 2 months.
I had my seat lowered because I was just barely touching the roof on some big bumps at the local track and for me, removing the cushions would be too low. So, I could have had some thinner cushions made or just lower the seat. That 1/2" was all I needed and that is as far as you can lower the seat.

Here is a close up of the mods needed to lower the seat; the front hole is easy but the seat lap belt hole insert won't clear so you have to modify the bracket there too in order to lower the rear of the seat.
