If you had the chance to swap your stock bumpers for RUF bumpers would you do it? The only cost to me would be the paint.
Would this decrease the valve of my car down the line?

For me, with a Ruf Turbo R, the answer was a resounding yes... and I had to out and buy the rear bumper (front came in a box when I got the car). The bumpers get a lot of compliments even from people that have never heard of Ruf. Resale should be enhanced... by a small amount. A few potential downsides to consider:
o the Ruf front bumper is quite low (2" lower than an "S" lip)... gotta watch those driveways,
o the rear muffler heat shields need to be seriously hacked up to fit around the rear vents. I just used my bypasses, and left the heat shields off,
o the little aluminum exhaust tip trim pieces don't seem to fit the Ruf bumper. I left them off.
o the Ruf rear bumper is "longer" than the stock bumper, and the stock exhaust tips don't protrude like they do on a stock bumper. Ruf sells some exhaust tip "extenders", but they can't work with my Fabspeed bypasses. Will this damage the paint in the long run? I dunno. So far so good.
I don't want to discourage you, but want you to be aware of this before you start. For me.... I love those Ruf bumpers. Good luck, and keep us posted. How can you get those Ruf bumpers for a straight exchange?

Thanks for the feedback (and plates) I really like the look as well. I am curious if this is the only person on earth that does not like the RUF look.

I have a C4S (speed Yellow) and they are being installed on my car on Monday! I am so excited...and hey were NO WHERE NEAR a straight across trade. I Paid $2500 each, and sold my stocks for like $400-500 each. So it is mad expensive. And paint will be like $2000 as they need to be customized to fit perfectly.

positives
1. noticable extra downforce at speed
2. enhanced heat expulsion from engine/exhaust/oil cooler
3. weigh less than stock even though larger
negatives
1. low ground clearance
2. they dont retract like stock, they crack
3. aluminium impact protection/mounting bracket needs to be shortened to fit correctly
verdict - no brainer
