Twin Spark conversion parts?
After thinking that modification for months, I have now decided to do it.
Is my "shopping list" complete?
Please, comment freely because I'm not a expert..
- 993 Turbo Motronic signal splitter
- 964/993 Ignition Distributor with caps and rotors
- 993 lower spark plug wire set
- 12 spark plugs, Bosch FR5DTC
- Machine cylinder heads for twin plug ignition, standard 14mm plugs top & bottom incl. lower valve covers
And of course good Motronic programming for whole combination.

To retain your heat, you have to re-weld and fabricate the heater/crossover pipe that connects to the engine fan to your inlet sides of your heat exchanger.
You might want FR6 plugs..
The lower valve cover will actually be a 993 NA unit.
2nd coil..
If you take your heads off, you most likely will replace the valve guides and replace valves as needed. And you might as well replace your rod bolts and rod bearings..
