DO I really need sport cats?

Andy,
Our very own Kevin (see above posts) makes a set of large diameter sport cats (yes, size IS important) that will bolt on in place of your stock cats. These are smog legal if your engine is running properly, and don't trip the CEL. Cat bypasses are very illegal in many states, but lighter, even less backpressure, and of course... cooler.
My car has Ruf sport cats and muffler bypasses. Some think its a bit loud. I love it.

Well, the RS Tuning ECU (Verysideways, previously Mjims) has arrived and now installed. No other mors (other than the Techart back boxes) and WOW! I cannot get over the kick up the 'RS you get when flooring it.
I've only been brave enough to give it full beans in fourth gear as it's snowing. I can imagine that First and second will be for parking only. Now for sports cats, maybe a change of filter etc.
The only way to describe it is that fourth now feels like third used to, fifth like fourth and so on.
