Question Stock TT 60-0 stopping distance statistic?

I've just spent an hour searching every way I know how and cannot find this statistic.

Can someone tell me what the factory spec stopping distance is for the big red stock TT brakes on a TT?

for 60 to 0

thanks

Sorry, I don't know nthe info. But to my feeble brain, 60-0 is less about the size of the brakes than it is about balance and the grip of the tires. All 911's excel in the brake balance department (here's where that big fat rear weight bias is a good thing), so I think you're just gonna be measuring tire grip.

See http://www.einszweidrei.de/porsche/993t1995-1.htm and http://www.einszweidrei.de/porsche/993twlk1996-1.htm. Looks like 62.5 to zero is on average 36 meters or 120 feet.

UK mag Autocar now print that statistic for all tests, but checking back on the 1995 road test
https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...hlight=autocar
They didn't do it back then.
When they introduced the 993tt they quoted the braking power being the equivalent of nearly 2000hp !

From looking at other Porsche numbers in Autocar, the 993tt 60-0 number will be around 2.8secs.

Other brake snippets, from Paul Frere's book, the 965 turbo did 62.4-0 in 35.6m (similar to the figure quoted above for the 993tt) and Porsche also tested it 200mph-0 in 131.1m with a deceleration of 1.2g.

I seem to remember that it's 3.8 from 100-0 mph if that's any help.
