Default Motronic overboost

Whilst doing another 60-130mph session with the AX22, I started in 3rd from about 50mph and punched the throttle wide open. With the RS programming this allows the engine to give "overboost" which is basically the Motronic allowing the boost to rise above the level it would on a normal run from lower revs or on the dyno. In this case it ran up to about 1.35bar for a second or so.

The result can be seen on the graph below. It looks quite subtle on the graph, but see how the initial acceleration curve is very steep whilst the boost goes into "overboost", then it levels out to the normal "dyno power" acceleration rate when the Motronic pulls the boost back (once knock has been hit).

On the road this feels awsome and probably represents a hit of maybe 820NM for a second or so

BTW the 60-130 was 7.9s (7degC 1465kg)

Could with the right equipment, but it varies constantly - no run up through the revs is identical.
I have a boost curve from the official rating on the engine dyno but it doesn't mean much as it all changes on the road.
